Deidra Ross is more than just a media specialist, she's a media guru. That's right folks. For all of you folks that think Mrs. Ross is just a librarian... think again! She not only handles all of the duties in the media center with her trusty sidekick, Mrs. Berry, but she oversees a myriad of project essential to the success of administrators, teachers, and the overachieving students at CMS. Without Mrs. Ross, technology would be an afterthought at CMS. Mrs. Ross is the pulse of how we utilize technology at our school, and is in direct contact with our central office on a daily/hourly basis. 

 

Deidra is the sponsor of our Technoloy/Robotics Club, and for several years has been the catalyst behind such innovative programs as the Technology Fair and of course, Jacket Jive... your information hive. One merely wonders what will be next. 

 

She and her husband, Jeff, have two beautiful chidren: Catherine (Pre-K) and John (first grade) that occupy much of their time. When "Lady D" isn't raising kids or trailblazing the uncharted wilderness of technology, Deidra likes to unwind to the scintillating sounds of the Psychedelic Furs, the Smiths, the Cure, as well as other diverse classic alternative artists. She also enjoys walks on the beach and the plethora of activities too numerous to list. The point is...she's not your average media specialist. She is the ultimate media specialist and CMS is pleased and very luck to have her!
